The Birth of Hello Little Boo


The idea for Hello Little Boo came to Ling as she navigated motherhood with her first child. While struggling to find cost friendly, high-quality products for her son, she recognized a gap in the market for durable and stylish children’s products at accessible prices. “I thought to myself, why can’t I create something that combines quality and affordability?” Ling recalls.
Motivated by this realization, she began creating children’s backpacks and eventually expanded the brand to include premium bamboo essentials for toddlers and babies, which are great for sensitive skin. Hello Little Boo was born out of her desire to provide other parents with the convenience she had once struggled to find, blending functionality with charming, kid-friendly designs.
A Unique Approach to Design

What sets Hello Little Boo apart is its unique design process which is all hand-drawn by their in-house illustrator. Every print and pattern is aesthetically drawn based on what kids love, ranging from dinosaurs to safari animals, ensuring that the products resonate with both parents and children.
For instance, when Ling observed her son’s fascination with dinosaurs and vehicles cars, she developed a combination print that features both, responding to the common demand for designs that cater to multiple interests. By actively seeking input from children, Hello Little Boo’s designs are playful, engaging, and tailored to young imaginations.
This child-centered design approach ensures that Hello Little Boo products are not only practical but also fun and visually stimulating. Parents appreciate the thoughtfulness behind each piece, knowing that the brand’s items are crafted with quality and a deep understanding of what excites kids.

Since its inception, Hello Little Boo has experienced steady growth, with pop-up shops playing a key role in its early success. Ling fondly recalls seeing customers returning time and again, demonstrating their loyalty to the brand’s quality and appeal. The brand has expanded its offerings to include apparel and bedtime essentials for toddlers and babies, with plans to further diversify its product line.
