In today’s fast-paced world, where convenience and flavor matter more than ever, home-based food brands are rising to the occasion—bringing fresh, handmade comfort food straight from the kitchen to the doorstep. One such standout in this category is DQUES.BUSINESS, a home-based venture known for its juicy homemade burgers, generously filled popiah bambam, and signature burger cakes. As more consumers look for authentic, small-batch food experiences, brands like DQUES.BUSINESS continue to build a loyal following through word-of-mouth and unmistakable taste.

The Story Behind DQUES.BUSINESS.

DQUES.BUSINESS was founded in April 2020 by the husband-and-wife team Faiqah and Hafiz during Singapore’s COVID-19 circuit breaker. What started as a way to stay productive and creative during a difficult period quickly became a growing food business. Their idea was simple: offer homemade burgers with their own original sauces—fresh, flavourful, and prepared with care. The business has now expanded its signature offerings to include their well-loved popiah bambam and creatively presented burger cakes.

Starting a food business from home came with several challenges. One of the biggest hurdles for Faiqah and Hafiz was earning the trust of customers who were unfamiliar with their brand. Convincing people that their food wasn’t just another ordinary burger or spring roll took time and persistence. They embraced feedback, improved their recipes, and slowly carved a space for DQUES.BUSINESS in a crowded food scene through honest service and consistent quality.

What Makes DQUES.BUSINESS Stand Out.

What truly sets DQUES.BUSINESS apart is the distinctiveness of their products. Their burgers are made with juicy, well-seasoned patties, topped with homemade sauces and fresh vegetables that bring out a flavour profile customers instantly recognize. The popiah bambam, another crowd favorite, comes in extra-large portions and is packed with meat and homemade sauces—making it a full and satisfying meal in itself.

Managing every aspect of the business from home, Faiqah handles customer interaction, social media, and sales, while Hafiz oversees deliveries and helps with food preparation, especially during large orders. Their teamwork ensures that every order is handled with care, and every customer receives personal attention. Much of their growth has been organic, thanks to repeat customers, recommendations, and a growing presence on social platforms and food delivery sites.

Staying Home-Based with Big Dreams for the Future.

DQUES.BUSINESS has also made an impact through participation in local bazaars, where they received great feedback and return customers for their unique food. Events in 2022 and 2023 helped them connect with the community, allowing new customers to try their food firsthand and offer instant reviews—which the duo takes seriously for continuous improvement.

While they currently plan to stay home-based to focus on their young children, Faiqah and Hafiz have bigger plans in mind. In the coming years, they hope to open a physical outlet with help from their growing family. The dream is to turn DQUES.BUSINESS into a true family-run operation, keeping their signature flavors and personal service at the heart of everything they do.
