From Conflicts to Candies

HAPPYTOOTH SG’s journey began with a series of conflicts, not just between the founders but also in their approach to creating the perfect sweet treat. Initially, Irfan and Wani focused on developing innovative versions of traditional snacks, rather than sticking to the familiar honey cornflakes. Their desire to innovate led them to Pinterest and YouTube, where they researched and experimented with various flavors and ideas. This experimentation resulted in their signature product, “Cluster Flakes,” which comes in a variety of flavors, including their best-seller, Salted Caramel.

The name “Cluster Flakes” was inspired by the clustered form of their treats. Unlike traditional honey-coated cornflakes, HAPPYTOOTH SG’s Cluster Flakes are designed for daily enjoyment, not just special occasions. This innovative approach set them apart from other home bakers who often stuck to conventional recipes. The couple’s dedication to creating unique products also led them to develop special items like brownies and blondies in unexpected flavors such as purple ube and sweetcorn, adding to their distinctive offerings. Their intent was always to break the cycle of traditional honey cornflakes, bringing a fresh perspective to the world of homemade treats.

Unique Selling Proposition

HAPPYTOOTH SG’s commitment to uniqueness is evident in its product lineup. The bakery offers two standout items: Cluster Flakes and a range of flavored brownies and blondies. The founders pride themselves on being the first to introduce such a diverse array of flavors in these categories. For instance, their strawberry cheese blondies and blue velvet Oreo cheese brownies have become customer favorites, celebrated for their originality and delightful taste.

What truly sets HAPPYTOOTH SG apart is their lactation Cluster Flakes, inspired by Wani’s personal experience with breastfeeding. This product not only addresses a specific need for new mothers but also highlights the founders’ ability to innovate based on personal challenges and customer feedback. The bakery’s dedication to quality and freshness is another cornerstone of their success. They source their ingredients from well-established suppliers, ensuring that every treat maintains the highest standards.

Expanding Horizons

Irfan and Wani have big plans for HAPPYTOOTH SG. They want to create a dedicated kitchen space to expand their production capabilities and offer a wider variety of products. While their ultimate goal is to open a physical shop in Singapore, they are currently focused on growing their online presence and fulfilling larger orders for corporate events and weddings.

The positive feedback from customers has been a major driving force behind their growth. HAPPYTOOTH SG has received many requests for door gifts and festival treats, and they recently had the honor of supplying 2400 bottles for the SIA Guest Campaign 2024. This milestone demonstrates their ability to cater to large-scale events and strengthens their reputation as a provider of unique, high-quality confections.
