In September 2018, she transformed this craving into a business opportunity by launching Salted Egg Chicks. 

What started as a humble home-based venture with a mere $300 investment blossomed into a thriving enterprise specializing in homemade sauces. 

Unlike conventional powdered mixes, Salted Egg Chicks’ sauce is meticulously crafted from scratch, offering a unique and tantalizing flavour profile.

Challenges on the Path to Success:

Like any startup, Salted Egg Chicks encountered its fair share of challenges. 

Customer retention became a significant concern when Nurmarrini took a hiatus due to personal reasons, resulting in a temporary decline in followership. 

However, with perseverance and strategic marketing efforts, Salted Egg Chicks managed to rebuild its customer base and regain momentum. 

Operational transitions, such as the shift to a dedicated business account, were also pivotal in streamlining operations and ensuring long-term sustainability.

Spreading Culinary Delights: 

Salted Egg Chicks’ appeal transcends borders, attracting customers not only from its native Singapore but also from neighbouring Malaysia. 

Despite geographical constraints, patrons have travelled from Johor Bahru to experience the flavorful offerings of Salted Egg Chicks firsthand. 

The startup has witnessed exponential growth, with over 3000 orders served to date, predominantly from young families and culinary enthusiasts. 

Its signature Spicy Salted Egg Sauce has garnered acclaim for its bold and vibrant flavours, resonating with diverse palates.

Salted egg chicks have become a staple at pop-up booths and live station setups, offering an extensive array of menu options. This expansion caters to diverse tastes and preferences, showcasing the versatility of salted egg flavouring across a wide range of dishes.

Scaling Up and Innovating:

Looking ahead, Salted Egg Chicks envisions further expansion and innovation in the culinary landscape.
