Born in Indonesia but calling Singapore home, Antonio’s love affair with food began in his grandma’s kitchen, where he soaked up the comforting scents and flavors of traditional dishes.

Every trip to grandma’s house was a feast for the senses, filled with the sizzle of pans and the laughter of family. These moments sparked a dream in Antonio’s mind: to share the magic of Indonesian cuisine with his community in Singapore. But it wasn’t until the unexpected arrival of COVID-19 that this dream began to take shape.

During the pandemic, it was suggested by his Dad that both Antonio & his brother should explore the world of food together, due to the opportunity he saw. While still juggling his job at the bank, Antonio ventured ahead into the culinary domain and as fate would have it, the allure of GOE.FOOD proved too strong to resist.

Though initially a joint venture with his brother, life’s twists and turns led Antonio to continue the journey solo. But his mission remained crystal clear: to bring a taste of home to fellow Indonesians living in Singapore.

With a customer base primarily made up of Indonesians staying in Singapore, Antonio’s dedication to authenticity shines through in every dish. Unlike the frozen fare found elsewhere, GOE.FOOD prides itself on using fresh ingredients, ensuring that each bite is bursting with flavor and nostalgia.

For Antonio, GOE.FOOD isn’t just about food—it’s about sharing memories, fostering connections, and spreading joy.

The authentic taste of homemade Indonesian delicacies

Offering a delectable array of Indonesian delights, at GOE.FOOD each dish is brimming with flavors that evoke cherished memories.

At the forefront of the offerings is the crowd-favorite “Pempek Kapal Selam,” a crispy fishcake with a delightful surprise—a perfectly boiled egg nestled within. Served with noodles, cucumber, and their signature sweet, spicy, and tangy sauce, this dish is a true taste sensation. And with options for both fried and frozen, you can enjoy it any way you please!

Indulge in the authentic flavors of Indonesia with “Batagor,” a classic street-side Sundanese snack most strongly associated with Antonio’s mum’s hometown of Bandung, or savor the comforting flavors of “Tekwan”, a famous dish originating from the Indonesian region of Palembang, served with a side of rich prawn-based soup and sambal.

For a truly traditional experience, try the “Otak-Otak,” grilled to perfection inside banana leaves, served with their special peanut sauce—a dish that promises to tantalize your taste buds.

Celebrate special occasions with their beautifully decorated “Pempek Cake,” a delightful treat & truly Instagram worthy dish for pempek lovers everywhere.

And don’t forget to save room for dessert! Indulge in the sweet delights of “Kue Ijo” and “Ongol-Ongol”, Indonesian “Mochi” topped with savory grated coconut, or treat yourself to the light and fluffy “Bolu Kukus”, a traditional steamed sponge cake. GOE.FOOD places heavy emphasis on ensuring that all their desserts a just a tad sweet, making them perfect complements to their fried selections, or simply enjoyed on their own as tea-time snacks.

Ordering is a breeze with @GOE.FOOD – simply WhatsApp 90026940, and get your culinary delights straight to your door, even on weekends! Plus, with frozen pempek options available, you can stock up for up to 1 month of deliciousness.

Managing growth while staying true to crafting recipes that delight

GOE.FOOD today continues to navigate the flavorful seas of Singapore’s culinary market with Antonio at its head. With humble beginnings as a home-based enterprise, GOE.FOOD crafted culinary delights that enticed patrons.

Post pandemic, GOE.FOOD faced a new challenge: sustaining momentum in a changed world. Undeterred, Antonio rallied his loyal customers and set his sights on expansion.

Now, at a crossroads of opportunity, Antonio contemplates the next course for GOE.FOOD. Two paths beckon: one leading to a centralized kitchen and the coveted halal certification, promising broader horizons. The other ventures into retail, placing GOE.FOOD’s culinary treasures within arm’s reach for more people in Singapore.

With each dish seasoned with tradition and served with passion, GOE.FOOD is poised to continue its journey of flavor and fulfillment.
