Outdoor activities have always been crucial for children’s physical and mental development. Encouraging kids to participate in outdoor play promotes a healthy lifestyle and enhances their social skills and creativity. In this context, Micro scooters Singapore, founded by Justinna Pank and Emma Thomas, has been a game-changer since its launch in September 2007.

Micro scooters’s Journey

Micro scooters Singapore was created out of Justinna and Emma’s shared passion for outdoor activities and their goal of providing high-quality outdoor fun for children. After moving to Singapore with their families, both founders noticed the lack of quality scooters for their children. This led them to import Swiss-brand Micro-scooters.

They initially borrowed funding to secure a container of scooters, and the business gradually took shape from their homes. Within three years, Micro scooters began gaining momentum, and by the fifth year, they had established a strong distribution network, logistics, and a dedicated workspace and warehousing.

Unique Products and Services

Apart from Micro scooters the founders have sourced other brands to represent that complement their scooters through their parent company White and Black Trading.  The focus remains on promoting outdoor activities for children through high-quality related products. They  distinguish themselves  by a commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability.

Each brand they represent is supported by a unique inventor’s story, ensuring top-notch engineering and authenticity. They distribute well established labels such as Waboba beach fun, Ezyrollers  and Penny skateboards too.

A notable feature the company offers is its service centre, which provides repairs and spare parts, demonstrating dedication to sustainability and the long-term usability of its products. This unique approach has made Micro scooters a beloved brand among Singaporean families, encouraging a generation of children to enjoy outdoor activities.

Micro scooters’s Future Vision

Over the past 17 years, White and Black Trading has experienced significant growth and played a major role in shaping Singapore’s outdoor activity culture. The COVID-19 pandemic presented both challenges and opportunities, leading to a surge in demand for outdoor products.

As the retail landscape continues to change,  Justinna and Emma adopt  new approaches by supporting both physical stores and online platforms. The founders are committed to maintaining a balance between offline and online presence, ensuring that customers have the opportunity to experience and choose the right products.

Moving forward, there is an aim to uphold its mission of promoting quality outdoor fun while responding to post-COVID consumer trends. The founders anticipate a sustained interest in outdoor activities and healthy lifestyles and are dedicated to meeting this demand with innovative, high-quality products. Micro scooters’s focus on quality and sustainability ensures that it will remain a trusted name in outdoor activities for years to come.

Conclusion

Micro scooters Singapore has revolutionized outdoor fun locally with a strong focus on quality, safety, and sustainability. Founded by two visionary women, the brand has experienced significant growth over the years, promoting a healthier, more active lifestyle for children. Looking ahead, Justinna and Emma are committed to upholding their brand’s core values while adjusting to evolving consumer preferences.
